Fireside Foundation, Inc., the organization that brings you the ShockerFest (formerly known as Firelight Shocks Film Festival( 2003 has announced the dates for this years event.

September 26, 2003
4:30-6:30 pm - Opening Credits - Wine and Cheese reception and mixer, hosted by the Modesto Film Commission and the Modesto Convention and Visitors Bureau, to bne held as the Red Lion Hotel. A selection of wine is being provided by Wend-Tyler Vintners of Modesto. This is an opportunity for those attending the Dinner With The Stars, and others, to meet and mingle. A little networking opportunity. Tickets $15 or as part of Dinner With The Stars ticket. This event is very limited seating and preference will be given to those attending the Dinner With the Stars event. Tockets available at the Modesto Convention and Visotors Bureau office - 1150 9th St, Modesto (209-526-5588) or by calling George Baker at 209-537-5221 only, or as part of the Dinner with the Stars or Weekend Package ticket purchase.
7-11 pm - Dinner with the Stars -- A Salute to KEVIN McCARTHY, star of the original INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. . Former co stars from various films will be in attendance, either in person or on tape, including BELINDA BALASKI (Piranha), DEE WALLACE STONE (The Howling), . The Dinnere will be held at the Red Lion Hotel and will feature a buffet supper and a cash bar.. Tickets $50.00 per person.Tickets are strictly limited and available at the Modesto Convention and Visitors Bureau office (209-526-5588), the State Theatre (209-527-4697) by telephone at 209-537-5221 or by email at DinnerTickets@ShockerFest.com.

9 aqm - 11 pm -- Feature Screenings. -Screenings of competitive feature length films in all genres. Also screenings of special features including the original INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS-and the World Premier of LEGEND OF DIABLO, State Theatre, Modesto, CA.

September 28, 2003 -- Tickets for all events (except Wrap Party) - $25.00
8 am - 6 pm -- Short Film Screenings --Screenings of competitive short films in all genres. Arbor Theatre, and Gimglo Ballroom, Center Plaza.

9am - 5 pm -- Autograph signings and Dealers Room - Entertainment icons David Hess, Felissa Rose, Frank Dietz,Kevin McCarthy, Belinda Balaski, Dee Wallace Stone, Mara Fox, Sondra Currie, Charlie Holiday, Alan J. Levi, J. Peter Robinson, Malisia Petropoulos, and more to be announced, wil take their turns in the Dealers Room signing autographs for their fans. Costs of autographs, if any, is set by the stars.

9am - 5 pm -- Film and Television Symposia -- Scheduled through out the day will be presentations by producers, directors, actors, musicians and musical coordinators, casting agents and screenwriters with an eye to providing information for the budding film maker, and a glimpse behind the scenes in the makking of television programs and films.

6 pm - 7 pm -- Shocker Awards Presentation -- Arbor Theatre -- Presentation of all awards and a salute to the competing film makers.

7:30 pm - ???? -- Wrap Party -- A final opportunity opportunity to get together and network with people of like mind. CASH BAR and open to all ages 21. Back at the Red Lion Hotel for an evening of merriment and mingling. .Ticket price $10.or as part of the complete weekend pass.
